We are elated to welcome Dr. Anita Mody to the Team. She will begin seeing patients on November 13th, 2025 at Brilliant Eyes.

Dr. Anita Mody (pronounced Mo-de) is a compassionate and skilled optometric physician known for her expertise in vision correction, soft contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions — including dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and pediatric myopia. She takes pride in providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, from children to seniors.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Mody moved to Georgia at the age of six. She now lives in the Smyrna/ Vinings community. She is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Her clinical interests include contact lenses, eye disease management, pediatrics, geriatrics, and preventive eye care. She is especially passionate about patient education and takes the time to ensure each patient fully understands their eye health and treatment options. Dr. Mody’s goal is to make every patient feel empowered, informed, and well cared for.
Dr. Mody was drawn to optometry after shadowing doctors in the field and witnessing firsthand the life-changing impact of improving vision. Today, she brings that same sense of purpose to every exam and patient interaction.
Outside the exam room, Dr. Mody enjoys exploring Atlanta’s diverse neighborhoods, traveling, dancing, swimming, and spending quality time with her husband and new fur baby.
