🌟May is Better Hearing Month🌟

We are celebrating Better Hearing Month by featuring some of our awesome patients and what it means to them to be able to “hear better!” Meet Phil Mason!

Dr. Laurie Nelson has been a vital part of my life for over 20 years. Like many of us, I didn’t think much about my hearing—until it started to slip. As a Counselor and Life Coach, being able to listen well isn’t just important, it’s at the heart of what I do. When I found myself struggling to understand a client sitting right across from me, I knew I needed help.
That’s when I met Dr. Laurie. She took the time to really understand what I needed, evaluated my hearing thoroughly, and fitted me with the perfect solution. But what truly sets her apart is the ongoing care. She and her team have worked with me year after year to make sure I’m always hearing my best.
If your hearing isn’t what it used to be—or if you're just not sure—it’s worth a visit. Dr. Laurie changed my life, and I’m confident she can help you too.

🌼May is Better Hearing Month🌼

We are celebrating Better Hearing Month by featuring some of our awesome patients and what it means to them to be able to “hear better!” Meet Jim Rockwell!

Over two decades ago, my ENT suggested that I look into hearing aids, and one of my customers recommended Dr. Nelson. After some time in the "box,” she recommended my first set of appliances. The first morning I wore them, I walked my two sons to the bus stop. I heard the birds chirping in the trees for the first time in a long time. What a Wonderful Choir! 23 years later and I am still a patient. My hearing has declined with age, but fortunately, Dr. Nelson has stayed up with technology and the manufacturers she represents have provided equipment that has met my needs. Without the help of my audiologist, I would have had to quit teaching and quit coaching the Walton Boys Golf Team. With Dr. Nelson’s help, it has been and still is a wonderful life!

According to the Hearing Loss Association of America, roughly 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss, but only about 1 in 5 people with hearing loss use a hearing aid. Launched in 2020, ReSound partners with hearing care professionals in the annual Gift of Hearing campaign to donate care and technology to people with hearing loss who are experiencing financial hardship. We are honored to be one of 200+ hearing care practices participating in the ReSound Gift of Hearing campaign!

⭐️Meet Audrey⭐️
We have always enjoyed any time we get to see Audrey in the office, with her big smile and kind spirit, but it was particularly special to be able to serve Audrey and her hearing needs as part of ReSound’s Gift of Hearing.

Audrey is excited to be able to hear the customers at Walmart, where she has been working for 5 years. Audrey’s caring nature makes her the heart of her family, she is always putting others first and making sure they are taken care of first. It was an honor for Dr. Amanda to help Audrey and our local community. We are so honored to be given the opportunity to provide Audrey with the Gift of Hearing thanks to ReSound!
