Last Monday’s hip hop class with Mychal brought the heat even harder than Atlanta’s winter storm. The city might have been frozen, but the studio was on fire. Now that the weather has finally cleared and today is actually beautiful, there is no better time to jump in.

If you’ve been thinking about trying class, tonight is your night. Hip Hop every Monday at 8:30pm with Mychal. High energy. Zero judgment. Full vibes. Let’s go.

Movement Society ATL’s morning ballet program is built for adults who take their craft seriously — dancers who want a space that honors artistry, precision, and the joy of moving fully. In Dr. Caroline Simpkins’s intermediate–advanced classes, that balance becomes visible. You see it in the way dancers travel through the room, in the clarity of each tombé pas de bo***ée, in the elevation of each saut de chat, and in the unmistakable sense of freedom that comes from training in a community of working professionals and committed adult movers.

Whether you are maintaining your technique, rebuilding strength, or simply needing a studio outside of your company or day-to-day routine to reset and refine, these classes offer exactly that space. Monday and Friday mornings at 10 a.m. — open to adult dancers ready for a thoughtful, rigorous start to the day.

This is not just a ballet class.
It is a process.

In Dr. Caroline Simpkins’ beginner to intermediate ballet class, every combination has intention. Every correction has purpose. You are not just moving through steps. You are learning how to move better, stronger, and with more clarity each time you walk into the room.

You will be challenged thoughtfully.
You will receive detailed, actionable corrections.
You will feel progress, not just sweat.

As we move into 2026, we want to begin the year by listening.

Whether you have taken classes with us recently, joined us once, or are still waiting for the right moment to jump in, your perspective matters.

Our kickoff season showed us what is possible, strong energy in the studio, meaningful engagement, and the start of a growing adult dance community here in the Marietta area. As we look ahead, our goal is to build a more consistent, robust program that truly serves adult dancers.

To help guide this next phase, we have created a short survey to gather feedback on class times, days of the week, offerings you want to see more of, and what would make you more likely to attend consistently.

Your input will directly shape our 2026 class schedule and future programming.

Thank you for being part of this community, whether you are dancing with us now or planning to soon.

Monday mornings with Caroline are designed for working dancers across the city. Advanced Ballet at 10:30 AM is a space to sharpen technique for the demands of company and freelance seasons — with combinations built to support real repertory work.

This week’s highlight was a classic Gigi Hyatt–inspired dégagé sequence from Caroline’s days. Hyatt trained her dancers with multiple tendu and jeté combinations that increased in speed, and Caroline continues that lineage with purpose.

The combination called for 7 rapid piqué movements, traveling from devant to à la seconde, gradually accelerating. It’s a burner — requiring hip stability, firing the inner-thigh adductors, and demanding that each piqué stays clean, separate, and intentional. These details pay off later in petit allegro and in the overall ability to move both slowly and quickly with control.

If you’re a professional dancer looking for a serious morning class that respects your training, your artistry, and your schedule, this one’s for you. Book on MindBody today (LINK IN THE BIO).
