🌸 September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month 🌸
Early detection can save lives. Gynecologic cancers—including cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar—often show warning signs like unusual bleeding, pelvic pain, or changes in bathroom habits.

Hot flashes, mood swings, irregular cycles… is it perimenopause or menopause? Many women aren’t sure how to tell the difference — and knowing where you are in the transition can help you take charge of your health.
✨ Perimenopause is the stage leading up to menopause, often starting in your 40s. Hormones fluctuate, causing irregular periods, night sweats, sleep problems, and mood changes. This stage can last several years.
✨ Menopause is officially reached after 12 months without a period. At this point, estrogen and progesterone levels remain consistently low, and symptoms may include hot flashes, vaginal dryness, weight changes, and increased risk of bone and heart issues.
At Unified Premier Women’s Care in Marietta, GA, we understand how challenging these changes can be. Our team offers personalized care, including lifestyle guidance, non-hormonal options, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) when appropriate.
💜 You don’t have to face this transition alone. We’re here to support your health at every stage.

🔹 Common STIs: Chlamydia, gonorrhea, HPV, herpes, syphilis, trichomoniasis, HIV

🔹 Prevention tips:
• Use condoms consistently
• Get vaccinated for HPV & hepatitis B
• Schedule regular screenings
• Avoid douching
• Choose safe, monogamous relationships
💙 Remember: Testing is the only way to know for sure. Early detection means effective treatment and peace of mind.
