The Healthy Youth Coalition, in partnership with the Tri-City Event Series, is excited to announce the return of the HYC Glow Color Blast 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Henes Park.

The event kicks off at 7:00 p.m. and will light up the night with UV-reactive, neon, glow-in-the-dark color powder at six vibrant color stations throughout the course.

Event will be held “Elevator Style” with participants choosing their own distance by running or walking 1–3 loops (each loop approximately 0.9 miles) around the park. Whether you’re a serious runner or just looking for a fun night out with family and friends, this event is for everyone!

Registration Information Details:
• Pre-registration is open now through September 26th
• Discounted rates: $30 for adults | $15 for youth ($5 increase after pre-registration date)
• Register online: www.runsignup.com/hyccolorblast2025

Pre-registration includes a UV light headlamp, black event t-shirt, discounted price, and a finisher medal. Children in strollers are free. After September 26th, registration fees increase by $5, and shirts/headlamps are not guaranteed. Everyone must have a race bib to be allowed on the course. For safety and fairness, only registered participants with an official event bib will be allowed to walk or run the event.

New this year: Participants may upgrade to a different apparel option for an additional cost. (Please note: the standard t-shirt is not included if an upgrade is selected options are shown on the registration site.). These upgrade options will not be available after the pre-registration deadline.

Thanks to a grant from the Provident Health Foundation through the Tri-City Event Series, youth registration fees remain reduced to encourage more young people to take part in community wellness events. Participants are encouraged to wear dark clothing and add their own bright neon accessories. Glow merchandise will also be available for purchase during packet pick-up and on event day.

Last year, the event drew more than 325 participants, and this year’s crowd is expected to be even larger. All proceeds benefit youth substance use prevention projects and activities in Marinette and Menominee Counties. We are also seeking event sponsors. Interested businesses may contact the Healthy Youth Coalition for details.

For more information, visit www.mmhyc.org, follow us on Facebook, or call 906-863-5665 ext. 1038.
Please feel free to share this email and information. We look forward to seeing you at Henes Park for an unforgettable night of fun, fitness, and glowing community spirit!
