ATTENTION PARENTS: All ByHeart infant formula has been recalled due to botulism outbreak. This article, by the AAP, outlines what you should do if your child uses ByHeart formula. You can also get more information on infant botulism by clicking on the link to the CDC at the bottom of the article.

The Food and Drug Administration recommended a full recall after 15 infants in 12 states had been hospitalized and treated for suspected or confirmed cases of infant botulism since mid-August.

October is a pretty special (and busy!) month here at Mitchell Family Medicine for this amazing couple — our very own Dr. Mitchell, whose birthday is today, their wedding anniversary, and the lovely Rebecca’s birthday on October 23rd!
