This Tuesday, Centerstone was honored with a proclamation from the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners, officially designating September 20, 2025, as Su***de Prevention Day in Manatee County. 💙

Lisa Williams, Regional Chief Executive Officer, joined our dedicated staff and incredible community partners to accept this important recognition, reinforcing our shared commitment to mental health and su***de prevention.

Centerstone is deeply grateful to our many supporters in Hamilton County, Tennessee who continue to stand with us as we advocate for youth mental health services in schools.

While we are disappointed by the Board of Education’s decision to table conversations about school-based therapy, our commitment to serving children and families remains unwavering. The decision to eliminate services limits parental choice and puts children’s wellbeing at risk. Centerstone will continue to look for every way possible to support students, parents, teachers, and the community with the care they need and deserve.

A month after the Hamilton County school board failed to renew a longstanding contract with a community mental health center to provide school-based services for students, members declined to consider an updated agreement Thursday.
