Join our growing and fast-paced medical practice, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are a team-oriented workplace looking for a Medical Assistant who is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist patients with check-in and check-out processes.
• Record patient medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked.
• Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
• Schedule appointments, do prior authorizations and manage patient records using EHR.
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions.
• Handle administrative tasks, including answering phones and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with EHR.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
