**FOMO Friday 😎** Amber's first edition

In case you missed it, here’s what took place in the office this week...flying around in our capes, BIG smiles and of course checking in on our office turtles. We spent time reading Harry Potter, working on our favorite dinosaur puzzles and of course picking out some fun goodies from the treasure chest.

We’re pretty sure healing works better when there’s laughter involved...just check out all those happy, smiling faces 😀

Happy Fomo Friday!! Coming to you a just a bit late. We wanted to get everything accomplished before we shared this weeks edition! What a fantastic week it was!!! Super busy and super fun at the office!!! Some BIG things happened this week!!! Tuesday was Chinese new year! The year of the Horse!! And that very same day we welcomed Amber as our new Patient Care Coordinator!!! Happy New Year and New beginning! We had some fun moments in pediatric chiropractic where we just have to meet the little where they are and get the job done!! Tucker always keeps me on my toes!! One of our favorite little buddies that we have known for a long time was finally able to have a turn and he was beating down the door to get in! We! Love! It!! Congrats Hudson on your first adjustment!! And lastly but not least we got to cheer Rya and her Victory team on on Friday! Rya absolutely rocked her floor routine (look! She's upside down!) She took home a very impressive 3rd place all around!!! So proud of her!! That is about it for this week. Have a great weekend and stay warm! 2nd winter if for the birds!!! Catch ya next week!!

What a week!!! We had visits from lots of our little buddies and had so much fun with so many smiles and giggles We love it! We managed to create a new hairstyle that we think will catch on super quick!!! Drago and Nadia chowed down and just like our little buddies ended up wearing some of it lol! Adjustments for babies (with stickers on their heads thanks to big sis LOL) and barbies alike! Archer the service dog even asked to be adjusted. Sorry Archer but Dr. Schwenn is not animal chiropractic certified. We'll get you a referral!!

Thanks to everyone who participated in our share the love event. Dr. Schwenn got lots of hugs and fist bumps and lots of valentines went out! We really have a great SFC family that we LOVE a whole lot!!! And Congratulations Savannah P. who won the basket in the big live drawing this morning! Wishing you a Valentines day weekend filled with love sunshine and all of your favorite things!!! Catch ya next week!! 💜💜💜

Boy oh boy! What a fun few weeks we have had. We know we missed last week and for that we apologize, BUT because of that we get to give you a two for one! Over the past couple of weeks we got to meet some new friends, brave the cold together, get adjusted on the kitty, take snooze on the luxurious new pad covers we have for the tables, eat an apple (or two) and hangout with the turtles.

You may notice a picture that does not contain any of our fun kiddos (not I am not talking about the picture of the turtles holding "paws", though you should look at that 😏). I am talking about the picture of the little girl holding the cutest dial phone I have ever seen in my life. Schwenn Family Chiropractic is hiring!! We are looking to bring on a new Patient Care Coordinator- no, Maggie is not leaving. Just transitioning into a new role that we can't wait to share! We are looking to add to our team!!

This is possibly The Coolest Patient Coordinator/Admin Job Ever!

Our Chiropractic office is located in Marion, Iowa.
We are biased — but we are pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for, ever. And we really believe that we are changing the world (you would know what we mean if you ever visited our office! Just check out our reviews ;-)).

The work is fun, fresh and dynamic. You get to witness and assist with some pretty awesome health transformations! You will be working directly with Dr. Schwenn and our entire team.

You will be an integral part of helping families on their health journey and you will experience some pretty amazing things! But if babies and their fluids or smells scare you then you should keep scrolling. Cuz there will likely be some sweet baby snuggles while mamas are getting adjusted

Now, let’s talk about the job requirements:

1. You need to be the type person who gets joy out of getting things done. Every day, you will bang out a list of Fun, Important and Necessary stuff. You will be on the computer A LOT. So, an understanding of social media, email, navigating the web, and other computer based stuff is a must.
2. You will be on the phone a lot. So, you need to enjoy talking with people!
3. You need to be a person who loves to deliver remarkable experiences to other people. You know, someone who feels good by making other people feel good.

Basically, we are looking for another set of hands to help take care of all of the office/admin side while Dr. Schwenn focuses on taking care of patients.

And to have fun at work (who wants a job that isn’t fun?!?). Our office is casual, but we do expect professionalism and punctuality. (If you’re not early you’re late!)

A few of the boring details, financial and accounting work can be annoying but is a very important part of this job. It is how the office and ultimately you get paid. Experience in this area or being meticulous with numbers is a big plus.

This is an ALMOST full time position with about 34-40 hours per week. If this sounds like you and you have the skills and drive then please do throw your hat in the ring!
If this is a job that gets you so excited that you would even do it for free, we would totally accept that! But if you prefer compensation (and we totally get it…we prefer getting paid as well) this is what we offer:
This is a permanent position

The pay is $17-20 an hour to START and can increase quickly based on performance.

There is definitely room for growth in this position

We are looking for a detailed person, one who is able to follow systems and processes exactly.

FOMO Friday, coming to you on a Monday? This freezing cold has go us alllll messed up!!! We enjoyed a snuggly day instead of a work day on Friday. Can you blame us? We had a fun week and celebrated National Hug Day! We LOVE hugs and enjoyed lots of them!! Rya got to hang out on Monday and enjoyed all the baby snuggles as always, we even got to care for Simba this week! Have a great week and stay warm!! Catch ya Friday!!
