A huge thank you to TRCC Senior Cosmetology program for helping us celebrate 💜

This is the third year we have been able to offer this special day to our WIC breastfeeding moms. Students offered facials, scalp massages, and haircuts. Many moms said this was much needed and way overdue. 😍

Staff and students entertained the kids while their moms enjoyed a special day. It was a great way to support and encourage our moms to continue breastfeeding.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends exclusive breastfeeding for six months, with complementary foods introduced around six months with continued breastfeeding until two years or beyond, as mutually desired by mother and child. Tri-Rivers Career Center
