Thomas L. “Tommy” Miller, 64 of Marion passed away on Monday January 19, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. Tommy was born August 17, 1961, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Verl Leonard Miller and Carolyn Margaret (Strosnider) Miller. He was also preceded in death by wife Elisabeth (Barrett) Miller; brother Charles; and sister-in-law Annette (Pasqualone) Miller.

Tommy is survived by son Jacob “Jake” (Alicia) Miller of Columbus; 3 grandchildren Jacob, Jayden & Jace of Columbus; brother Danny Miller of De Funiak Springs, Florida; sisters Diana (J.R.) Miller of Bonifay, Florida and Lorie Miller of Zephyrhills, Florida; long term companion Robin Keith of Columbus; and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

Tommy attended Electrical Trade School following graduation from high school. He worked with IBEW as a Journeyman Wireman as well as various industrial positions. Tommy was handyman to many elder neighbors. He loved to travel, fish, sports (especially the Buckeyes) & the outdoors.

Terrie Ann Wilson, 70 of Kenton passed away on Sunday January 18, 2026, at Marion General Hospital. Terrie was born January 28, 1955, in Indian Lake, Ohio to James Kelley who survives in Belle Center, Ohio and the late Barbara (Schultz) Ray. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather Richard Ray.

Terrie was married June 1, 1974, to Brent Wilson who survives along with daughters Brandi (Jim) Rowe, Kelli Byers, and Tara Wilson all of Kenton; grandchildren Derek Rowe of Atlanta, Miranda Rowe, Bailey Totten, and Fraya Wallace all of Kenton; one great grandson Paxton Risner; and brother Rex (Ginger) Kelley of Wharton.

Terrie graduated from High School in Indian Lake and lived most of her life in Kenton. she retired from Fuel Mart in Kenton, Ohio in 2020 after 22 years of service. Terrie was an avid reader and enjoyed roller skating, especially at the Indian Lake Rollerena several years ago. Most of all Terrie enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Roberta Lynn “Berta” Blevins, 64 of Marion passed away peacefully with her family at her side Sunday January 18, 2026, at home. Berta was born April 13, 1961, in Marion to the late Robert Curtis and Betty Lou (McEldowney) Pierce. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather Glen Pierce.

Berta was married April 8, 1978 to William “Clinton” Blevins who survives along with children Donnie (Suzanne Baker) Blevins and William Clinton Blevins Jr.; Brother Robert (Nanette) McEldowney; grandchildren Danielle Nicole and Kelsi Nicole; great grandchildren ; Haven LaMarr as well as 2 living in Florida; Zophia and Jedrick dear friends Becky and Buddy Wilson and Charlie White and his late wife Janet Sue.

Berta lived her entire life in Marion and worked for the last 33 years at Walmart. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and arts and crafts which included her fascination and love for Darrell the Sasquatch." That she named by the way " before Bigfoot become Darrell

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at11:00 am in the Marion Enterprise Baptist Church with Pastor Jim McIntire officiating and burial to follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Leontine "Lee" VanDyke, age 81 of Marengo, OH passed away January 3, 2026, at Grant Medical Center. She was born October 13, 1944, to the late John Ray and Charlotte LePage in Buffalo, NY. Lee was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Jack VanDyke and sister Charlene Lagerberg.

Lee is survived by sister Connie (Mason) Compton, brother David (Norma) Ray, children: Ronda (Ron) Hess, Michael (Angela) VanDyke, Kevin VanDyke, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lee retired from working many years in travel at ARA and more recently with J.P. Morgan Chase booking travel plans. Her love for dogs led her to be a 4-H Advisor in dog clubs for many years. She really enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. Lee will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Judy Ann Eldridge, age 54. Passed away at Marion General Hospital January 9, 2026. Judy was born to the late Jessie and Janie Eldridge May 3, 1971, in the state of Virginia. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, fiancé, Mike Ellis; sister, Jackie Eldridge.

Judy is survived by daughter, Almeda (Taylor) Bennett; granddaughter, Ceriniti Bennett; siblings, Janice Eldridge, James Eldridge, Joyce Blankenship, Josh Eldridge, Jeanette Eggleston, Joe Eldridge, Jessie James Eldridge, Josie Eldridge, Pamela Eldridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Judy enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and could make a good cup of coffee. She was a Mickey Mouse fan and knick-knack collector. Judy loved animals and was a bit of a homebody. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Warren Everett Lyons, age 59 of Galion, OH passed away at Galion Meadows January 14, 2026. He was born to the late Everett and Wanda (Johnson) Lyons March 24, 1966, in Galion Ohio. Warren was preceded in death by his parents and significant other, Karen Ogle.

Warren is survived by daughter Amanda (Darron) Wiseman mother to Ava, Uriah, Karen, and Daron E.; step-son, Mickey (Jordan) Lerch daughter Pamela and sister Ronda (Steve) Castle mother to Brooke (Seth) and TJ (Ashley) Castle, and brother Travis Lyons.

Warren lived most of his life as a homebody and private person. He enjoyed collecting Model GTO’s, a childhood car his father had. Warren worked on cars periodically, loved going fishing, and attending car shows.

Pamela “Pam” Sue Gaines, 67, passed away January 11, 2026 at Marion General Hospital. Pam was born to the late Wesley Coykendall and Phyllis (Terry) Walker on March 5, 1958 in Marion, Ohio. Pam is preceded in death by her parents; son, Harold “Eugene” Sayre; siblings, Michael Terry, Sherill “Lynn” Byers, and Alvie Coykendall.

Pam is survived by her children, Marshall (Alisha Morgan) Sayre, Kimberly (Jeff) Young, Terry (Nikki) Gaines, Katelynn Gaines, Fur baby Jr; brother, John (Sherry) Coykendall; grandchildren, Ashley Sayre, Kaydee, Heaven and Jeff Jones, James, Kraven, Rami, Kieara, Zeriona, Sorinity, and Zaylin Sayre, Dominic and Temperance Young, and Skyla Gaines; she was also survived by her nephew and caregiver, Alva Coykendall; as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, her Aunt Lillian Fields and cousin Jennifer Fields Hughes.

Pam was the absolute best mother, grandma and aunt. She made sure they always knew how loved they are. She adored animals and flowers. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Pam would help anyone who needed it. She also loved going to watch her grandchildrens sporting events. She loved to shop, read, and watch tv. She was very dedicated to her work, where she retired after 18 years December 30, 2022 as an account manager for Cummins Facility Services LLC.

Brenda Gay Surber, age 77, passed away at home January 2, 2026. Brenda was born to the late Ossie and June (Hale) Adams October 20, 1948, in Salyersville, Kentucky. Brenda is preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda is survived by children, Ginger Howard, Bradley Howard, and Robert William Surber Jr.; siblings, Ruie Young, Garland Adams, and Carma Armstrong; grandchildren, Alicia Howard, Ashley Lindsey, and Lane Howard; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Dorian, Dalyn, and Ariyah; and her beloved fur baby Apollo.

Brenda worked most her life as a grocery store department manager. Brenda made daily trips to the Millstream Credit Union, and enjoyed her visits with her extended bank family. She was not one to sit down, always on the go, and there was nothing she couldn’t do. Brenda loved her family very dearly, and was a full-time mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She played softball for many years, enjoyed motorcycle rides, and was a Harley girl. Brenda also had quite the greenthumb; she canned and made jellies. Brenda was a true down home American Woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date. Interment will be at Marion Cemetery, where she’ll rest in one of their niche boulders. Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimers Association. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.

Richard “Rick” William Oliver, 62, passed away January 2, 2026. Rick was born to Charles Oliver Jr. and Marilyn Joann (Wright) Shifflett August 16th, 1963, in Marion, Ohio. Rick is preceded in death by his mother.

Rick is survived by his father, Charles (Cheryl) Oliver Jr., step father Kenneth Shifflett, children, Douglas (Rebekah) Oliver, Matthew Oliver, and Adam (Nickie) Oliver; siblings, Leonard Oliver, Kevin (Krista) Oliver, Tim (Jodie) Oliver, Kim (Scott) Sargent; grandchildren, Lili, Chloe, Barrett, Gaige, Zoey, Evelyn, Ruby and Sophie; great-grandchildren, Weston and Bentley.

Rick was a graduate of Marion Harding High School, class of 82’. He worked as a machine operator for many years with Boise Cascade and Ga***rd Container. In his spare time he enjoyed playing softball, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Rick played Euchre most his life, always rooted for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved family matriarch, whose enduring love and spirit enriched the lives of so many. She leaves behind a profound legacy of devotion and cherished memories.

Lucille Geraldine Holmes, age 87 of Marion, OH passed away December 30, 2025, at the Meadows of Marion Nursing Home. She was born November 26, 1938, to the late Arnold and Fay Boak in Massillon, OH. Lucille was married to the late John Holmes Sr.

Lucille is survived and lovingly remembered by her devoted children: John C (Tina) Holmes Jr., Ralph (fiancee Shannon Wilson) Holmes, Chad Holmes, and Shane (Natasha) Holmes; her memory will also be carried on by her 13 adored grandchildren and 11 precious great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Lucille was a high school graduate and worked in padlock manufacturing at Hercules Industries in Marion. She loved spending time with family; her grandchildren filled her with tremendous pride and joy.

To honor her remarkable journey and celebrate the beautiful life she led, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, soon to be announced. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering her extraordinary warmth and spirit.

Jeffrey V. Throckmorton, age 68, passed away December 28, 2025, at Marion General Hospital. He was born to the late Frederick N. and Zelma (Heller) Throckmorton June 28, 1957, in Marion, Ohio. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mark Throckmorton, Wayne Throckmorton, Ruth Andrews, and Pam Hedges.

Jeff is survived by his son, Nick Throckmorton; sister, Rea Colby; grandchildren: Lily and Leland.

Jeff served in the United States Army and primarily worked as a private contractor most of his life. He also traveled for different work opportunities throughout the years. Jeff loved watching classic Western shows and movies and was an Ohio State Buckeyes' fan.

Angela is survived by her parents, her husband, step father: Greg Lenhart, daughter Navaeh Stockdale, sons: Chase Stockdale and Gage Presley, brothers: Joe Belcher and Jeremiah Cottrell, and sister Monica Belcher.

Angela graduated high school and earned a nursing degree from OSU of Mansfield, working as an STNA then as an RN for years. Angela enjoyed ghost-hunting. Known as "Angel", she was a fun, energetic, loving person who will be dearly missed.
