Resident Success Story: Barbara Brown

“My name is Barbara Brown. I came to Silver Oak for rehab after abdominal surgery. I was initially unsure about being in a nursing home, but the staff made me feel comfortable by explaining everything and helping me understand my care.

What stood out most was the kindness of everyone I met. My therapy team was wonderful, supporting me every step of the way and helping me heal. I was very happy with my wound care and the attention I received. The staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly take the time to make sure you understand your progress.

Special thanks to Katrina (CMA), Kelly (RN), Jessica (Wound Nurse), Daniel (RN), and Hayley (CMA) for their outstanding care. I would absolutely come back to Silver Oak if I needed care again and would highly recommend it to others.”

There’s nothing better than good company, good snacks, and a canvas full of color.
Our residents spent the afternoon painting, sipping, laughing, and letting their creativity shine. The room was full of conversation, bright colors, and a whole lot of joy. ✨

These moments of connection are what make Silver Oak feel like home — trying new things, cheering each other on, and creating memories together. 💕

Our new Crochet Group kicked off , and the creativity and talent in the room were incredible!

We loved seeing residents teach one another, share tips, and cheer each other on. Moments like these remind us that it’s never just about the hobby — it’s about connection, joy, and community.

Our residents don’t just crochet… they create gifts with heart. 💕
