Bradley's Funeral Home

Bradley's Funeral Home Bradley's Funeral Home & Chapel

"With Dignity, Fairness & Compassion...Our Family Serving Yours." The original estate was built in 1925 by Dr. R.H. Phipps.

Bradley's Funeral Home is located in historic Marion, Virginia. Bradley's Funeral Home was opened in February of 1999 by Tim & Justine Bradley. The property’s sprawling antebellum architecture, and park- like setting, provides families with peaceful ambience during the difficult grieving process. Our spacious sanctuary was added to better accomodate the families who have entrusted their services into our care. It is dedicated in loving appreciation to Justine's Grandmother, Louise Kearney Cherry. The tranquil chapel seats 300 people, and is equipped with a state of the art sound and projection system. Another recent addition, an on-site crematory, was added in the spring of 2015. The beautiful antique, lighted stained glass that adorns our chapel wall was framed and crafted by the late Michael Shupe. It stands in honor of the late Edward "Redeye" Thomas.

This week my office is posting shout outs to the various businesses who have donated to the 2025 Commissioner & Cans Food and Fund Drive!
This morning my office is thanking Bradley's Funeral Home for donating! Tim and Rowan were the first to donate to the cause this year!
I have known Tim since I was old enough to walk and probably before! His father(Sheriff Bradley) had a huge impact on me from a young age. Tim and Rowan have always wanted to see our community thrive and I’m glad to be able to call them friends!
Neighbors are coming together to help one another and that is what this is all about!
Reminder this drive benefits our friends and our neighbors, right here at home through Feeding Southwest Virginia and our local food banks.
Every $1 donated can provide 2-3 meals to a person in need!
You can donate monetarily or with canned goods at my office or the following link: https://feedingswva.donorsupport.co/page/CommCans2025 (Remember after donating to select Smyth County from the drop down).
The drive ends August 31st, but I am willing to come to you if you would like to donate! Just send me a message! If you want to donate, I will do my best to make sure you get the chance.
All donors are able to come by my office to sign the poster for this years drive that I created.
Fill the Box, Fill the Pantry, Fill the Heart!
When we come together to help each other, we lift each other up and make our hearts warm!
Commissioners & Cans Food and Fund Drive.
