πŸšπŸš‘It’s time we introduce some of the best flight clinicians for EMS Week! πŸšπŸš‘

Our Flight Paramedics are some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable clinicians! Here at Air Evac 35 we consist of 4 Flight Paramedics!

Our first Flight Paramedic is Beau, he has been in EMS since the year 2000! Beau has been with Air Evac for 9 years and currently holds his Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C). Beau has compelted over 750 patient flights!Something cool about Beau is he loves to geocache. 🧭

Our second Flight Paramedic is Jessica, she has been in EMS since the year 2001. Jessica has been with Air Evac for 7 years and currently holds her Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C). Jessica has also completed over 750 patient flights! Something cool about Jessica is she just completed her degree in Paramedicine and is currently enrolled in nursing school! She is one smart cookie if we must say so! Jessica also does our ordering here at our base and does an awesome job keeping us stocked! 🩹 πŸ’‰

Our third Flight Paramedic is Jeremiah, he has been in EMS since the year 2016! Jeremiah has been with Air Evac for 1.5 years and also hold his Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C). Jeremiah has completed almost 250 patient flights! Something cool about Jeremiah is he’s a huge baseball fan and wishes to explore all 30 MLB stadiums one day! Go St. Louis Cardinals!⚾️⚾️

Our fourth Flight Paramedic is Angelica, she has been in EMS since the year 2013. Angelica is approaching her 2 year anniversary with Air Evac and currently holds her Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C). Angelica has completed just over 200 patient flights! Something cool about Angelica is that she is she loves to play guitar and sing! Maybe one day we can get a karaoke machine at the base for her and she can show us her skills!🎢🎸

Here at Air Evac 35 we are grateful for our Paramedics and all they do for their patients! We might be a little biased but we have some of the best!🚁🚁

πŸš‘πŸšHappy EMS Week to all of the EMTs and Paramedics! We are so grateful for all of you and everything you do! Your compassion and care will never go unnoticed!πŸš‘πŸš

Our thoughts and prayers are with Air Evac Lifeteam 179 - London, KY. Just before midnight a tornado had struck their hangar, base, and aircraft. We are thankful that our crews were in a safe place and were unharmed. Our thoughts go out to our Air Evac Family. We also extend our thoughts and prayers to our extended family of PHI Air Medical that was also based at this airport.

We also wish to express our thoughts and prayers here at home. We had devastation just south of our base in our small community of Marion, Illinois. While we were not a direct hit and did not sustain any damage we want our community to know that we are thinking about you and here to help if our help is required. From all of the Air Evac Lifeteam family we are here, we are flying, and we are thinking about you. We hope for a speedy recovery process and clean up times.

🚁🚁Nurses Week 2025🚁🚁

This week we would like to take a moment to recognize our nurses here at Air Evac 35. Our nurses have a combined Nursing experience of over 50+ years between Lenora, Arianne, Logan, and Erika! Our nurses here go above and beyond every single day!

Arianne is our current Base Clincial Lead here at AEL 35. Arianne had been our BCL for the last 8 years and does an outstanding job making sure our crews are up to date in the latest clinical changes and skills! Arianne does a lot of things behind the scenes for our day to day operations. We are forever grateful for her dedication to our patients and base!

Lenora, Logan, and Erika are a true vital part of our base. These 3 nurses go above and beyond in making sure our patient care is always top notch. Rather that be studying for certifications or daily and monthly training. They are always training to make sure they are the best for the patients they encounter.

And last but not least our very own Jessica. Jessica currently a Flight Paramedic and is not currently a nurse but is currently enrolled in a nursing program. Jessica is set to complete her nursing program in December of 2025. We are so proud that she has taken this next step in her career and excited for what the future holds for her and the patients she encounters.

Please take a moment to thank our wonderful nurses on Nurse’s Week 2025! Thier unwavering dedication to our patients and coworkers never go unnoticed!

Today is World Pilots Day, we would like to take a moment to honor our pilots that brave the skies every single day to help us provide ACCESS! Without these talented pilots we would not be able to complete fast and expert critical care services. Our pilots are a vital part to every flight and every patient we encounter. We are excited to honor and appreciate everything they do!

Thank you: Tammie, Mark, Alex, and Brock!🚁

Air Evac Lifeteam is heartbroken to report that three crew members have perished in an incident that occurred on Saturday, January 20. At 11:23 pm local time AEL's Operations Control Center (OCC) lost contact with the aircraft, a Bell 206L3 with call sign N295AE. The crew is based out of Weatherford, OK, and was returning to base after completing a patient care transport in Oklahoma City when the OCC lost contact with them. Nearby AEL teams assisted local law enforcement with the search.

Our primary focus is on supporting the families and our team members. CISM teams have been sent to assist our team members during this time. Please reach out if you would like to speak with them.

At this time, we are not sharing the names of the crew members aboard the flight. We ask that you respect the privacy of our team members and their families, and please do not share their names.

AEL has turned over the scene and investigation to the NTSB.
