Dr. Felts has over 40 years’ experience as a natural health care doctor. He graduated with honors from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He received academic awards and passed both the National and State boards in Illinois. He began practice in 1973. Dr. Felts is certified in Applied Spinal Bio-mechanical Engineering (A.S.B.E.), and also specializes in clinical nutrition, family practice, and clinical neurology. Dr. Felts recently completed a 2-year post graduate study in clinical neurology from Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies. He has just implemented brain based therapy and Neurobics into this practice and has opened a Health & Wellness Center in his office. Dr. Felts has appeared on local television and talk radio shows, and has made countless speaking engagements as an advocate for preventative and wellness care!

lifespan?
Exercise is by far the most potent “drug”
Seniors have in extending the quality and
quanity of your years of life!
How many of you stretch and exercise daily?
If not start to today and start walking for 15
or 20 minutes!
After a week or so add 15 to 20 minutes of
walking in the afternoon or evening.
Key point: while walking after 5 to 10
minutes talk to yourself and if you are out
of breath slow or stop and rest for 5 to 10
minutes!
Start today go at comfortable pace!

Are you that regular stretching helps:

Stretching first thing in the morning can
relieve any tension or pain from sleeping
the night before.

Stretching before bed relaxes your muscles
and helps prevents you from waking up with

Seniors limit free sugar intake to less than 25 grams, or 6 teaspoons, per day!
There is that much sugar in 2 1/2 chocolate chip
cookies, 16 ounces of fruit punch .
A Doughnutut has around 15 to 30 grams of sugar,
according to the Cleveland Clinic!

consumption of sugar sweetened beverages to
less than 1 serving of a 12 oz soda!
Opt for sweetened fruit slices instead of sugary
drinks and have a fresh or frozen dessert instead
cakes, cookies, or ice cream!
Getting enough good qualityi sleep 7-9 hours on
a regular basis also helps “ as we tend to choose
foods higher in sugar When We Are Tired!
Cutting back gradually can help you train your
taste buds to Crave less sugar!

days?
A dead give away that you are getting proper
sleep is that you can remember your dreams,
when you wake remembering your dreams it
means you woke up in REM sleep!
So many Seniors say that they have been
unable to remember their dreams for years!
When you get deep restful sleep which is REM
sleep , Then You Are Waking Up In REM sleep
That Is A Really Good Sign That You Are
Getting Sleep!
The average person that has a normal
healthy blood sugar response with proper
sleep is basicallyl sleeping the entire night
without having issues!

You can get positive results even if you start
lifting light weights at 80 years and older!
Your chronological age has very little to do
with your actual physical well-being!
So a 50 year old smoker has the lungs
capacity of an 80 year old!
