Do you want to know what it’s like to get a Therapeutic Massage?
This is Mr. McAllister and he has been coming to Healing Haven Massage Therapy for many different issues. He is retired military with issues in his IT bands, arthritis in his knees, and tightness in his shoulder. Here’s what he has to say about massage and how it’s helped him!

Hello everyone!
I wanted to make this announcement in advance, so everyone will be aware of the changes that will be happening starting this October. As most of you may know, my goal is to try and hire another Licensed Massage Therapist to work here at Healing Haven Massage Therapy in the near future. With that being said, the prices for all Table Massages (Relaxation, Pregnancy, Therapeutic, and Lymphatic) will be the same as the Therapeutic Massage prices. The Cupping and Hot stone Add-ons will also change, but to a lower price in order to balance things out.
30min Massage for $60
60min Massage for $90
90min Massage for $120
Cupping $10
Hot stones $10
Chair Massage prices in the office will stay at the same rates of $1 a min with the times available being 10min, 15min, and 20min.
If you have a gift certificate that was purchased before these changes were made do not worry! I will still honor the time originally paid for and I will not charge extra.
I will also start offering Manual Lymphatic Drainage in October! More info to come on that later!
One more update, to keep your spot scheduled I am now making it mandatory to have a card on file. (This card will NOT be charged unless for a no-show/cancellation fee) The no-show/cancellation fee is set to be 50%-100% of the original cost of service if the client does not communicate with their therapist at least a day prior to the appointment. (If there is an emergency and you have to make a last minute cancellation please still let me know and we can work something out!) This is just a precaution, to decrease no-shows and cancellations that aren’t made in advance. I still take payment in cash, check, PayPal, and Venmo so people don’t have to pay the $3.85 card fee, but again the card being on file is just a precaution and will NOT be charged in advance. I will be looking through the schedule, and if you do not have a card on file I may ask you to add one before your session begins.

Massage facts! 💆‍♀️
🤔Did you know that massage can help with scar tissue breakdown? Typically after surgery you end up with a surgery scar, once that scar is fully closed and there is not longer a scab a licensed massage therapist can then help with breaking down the extra collagen that was built up during the healing process.
🤷🏻‍♀️Why would you want to break down the extra collagen? Scar tissue breakdown improves the mobility and reduces the pain felt in the affected area, it improves the flexibility of the tissue that sometimes gets hard and stiff during the healing process, and it encourages the collagen fibers to align more properly thus making the scar have a smoother appearance.
💁🏻‍♀️This is a photo of a client that had a knee replacement surgery, the scared area became very uncomfortable for them and it was hard to bend their knee properly, this issue made the client have a limp because the knee was very sore. After a few appointments (with the client coming once a month) using massage therapy techniques such as cross friction motions the client’s knee feels a lot smoother and they no longer have limp!
