As we wrap up American Heart Month this February, we’re proud to share an important message from one of our own at Marion Health. In this video, one of our dedicated paramedics, Tyler, explains the key risk factors and warning signs of a heart attack — and why calling 911 and requesting an ambulance could save your life during a cardiac event.

When it comes to your heart, every second counts. Don’t ignore the signs. Watch, learn, and share to help protect the hearts of those you love. ❤️

The last Friday in February is designated as “Thank a Resident Day”. Here at Marion Health, we revolutionize graduate medical training by devoting time to how our residents learn and individualizing their educational path. They will be trained to become lifelong learners who practice continuous process improvement. With this foundation, their mandate will be to reduce healthcare disparities through excellence in leadership, clinical practice, research, and community service.

Dr. Singh and Dr. Abdelmalek participated in the Stuffed Animal Clinic on February 3 at GROW: Thriving Grant County. Our physicians helped guide children through an examination on their stuffed animal. The children had a "medical history" chart to fill out. The event was a great success in health education for the children participating. Thank you to all who helped bring this together!
