Marion Eye Center would like to welcome Dr. Madison Witthoft, O.D. to our family of eye care professionals. Dr. Witthoft will be seeing patients in our Murphysboro, DuQuoin, and Pinckneyville Illinois offices.
"Dr. Madison Witthoft graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2021. Dr. Witthoft is particularly interested in helping patients manage their dry eye disease, is board certifi ed in treating ocular diseases and is a co-managing doctor for eye surgeries. She enjoys helping other people with their vision concerns and making their daily life better and visually comfortable.
Dr. Witthoft has spent much of her time volunteering her services to help others. She has volunteered to provide vision screenings in Monroe County, Indiana and at the Special Olympics and even traveled to Negril, Jamaica to provide eye care to primary school children.
Dr. Witthoft is originally from Southern Illinois and is excited to be moving back home. Southern Illinois is very near to her heart and she is excited to give back to the community that poured so much into her. Dr. Witthoft played collegiate softball at John A. Logan College and was a Saluki Shaker at SIU. She is excited to cheer on the Vols and Salukis again!
In her spare time, Dr. Witthoft enjoys spending time with her husband and her two daughters. She also enjoys visiting coffee shops, going on hikes, and being involved in her local church community."
