We are a family with fifteen children; of those fifteen children our parents have adopted eleven. All of which were in the Franklin County foster care system and have some sort of special needs. April 21, 2011, Billy came to us through foster care after an extensive stay at Hersey Medical Center. Billy is a victim of sever child abuse. The result of the abuse is that he suffers from a traumatic brain injury and brain anoxia. This abuse took a normal four year old and rendered him profoundly handicapped. Billy is now unable to walk, talk, see or eat; he is receiving nursing care to assist him with his disabilities. In addition to feeding tubes, and braces for his arms and legs, Billy suffers from seizures frequently. Here are the articles from his step-mother's arrest and the texts she sent back and forth to his father. http://articles.herald-mail.com/2013-01-28/news/36603081_1_text-messages-child-abuse-spousal-privilege

In October 2012, our family adopted Billy. In order to care for Billy, as previously stated, our parents have professional nursing and medical care. He has grown from the tiny under weight four year old in 2011 to surpassing fifty pounds and growing steadily. In June 2014 Little Warrior Billy went to meet the angles. This page once utilized to bring support to Billy's family to better assist him, now stands in the gap for other children in situations like him.
