Parenthood is full of contradictions.

The same mess that makes you want to scream is also proof of life being lived. The laundry that never ends is a sign your children are growing. The stack of dishes means bellies were filled.

Does that make it less exhausting? No. Not at all. The weight of it is real.

But so is the privilege. Because the only thing heavier than carrying the chaos of daily life… is imagining the absence of it.

It’s exhausting, and still, hidden in it are reminders of what matters to me most. Forever thankful for this messy, beautiful life. 🙏❤️
