Happening today and Saturday! Stop by and share your appreciation for our staff 🙏🥳

We're excited to team up with John C. Fremont Hospital Foundation to host a special event on two nights.

As part of Hospital Week 2026, we have a community card writing event to help thank our frontline rural healthcare workers at the John C. Fremont Healthcare District, with handwritten cards.

Two sessions will take place. One is Tuesday, April 21 from 4-7 p.m. in the Library's Community Room (bookstore). The second is Saturday, April 25 from 2:30-5 p.m., also in the Community Room.

It is free to attend and supplies will be provided. Stop by to have some fun and show gratitude for healthcare workers.

We are in this together for the residents of Mariposa.

We had a great turnout at today’s Healthcare Town Hall, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up and engaged in the conversation.

A heartfelt thank you to Joe and Stacey for the work you do every day, and to Dr. Keheley and Stacy Lynch for being present and available to answer questions. I also want to thank both the County team and the Hospital team for their support in making this event possible.

As public servants, our responsibility is to serve the residents of this County—regardless of boards, districts, or titles. Today was a great example of what can happen when we come together with that shared purpose.

The level of public engagement was truly inspiring, and I’m thankful to be in a role where I get to be part of these conversations. Thank you as well to the Hospital Board for your continued service.

I genuinely believe that if we stay connected and avoid working in silos, we can ensure the success of JCF. At the end of the day, we all want the same thing: accessible, quality care for the residents of Mariposa County.

Be on the lookout for the recording of the entire event.

🌙NOC Shift Spotlight: Adriana Barnum

Adriana Barnum is an Emergency Department Admitting Clerk who will be celebrating 8 years with John C. Fremont Healthcare District next month.

She enjoys being part of a team that delivers compassionate care during some of the most critical moments for patients, and takes pride in contributing to a hospital committed to serving the community.

Outside of work, Adriana enjoys attending church and spending time with her family, especially trips to theme parks where she loves a good thrill ride. Fun fact: she’s also a big WWE fan.

When asked to describe her team in one word, she chose synergetic—a reflection of the collaboration and support she experiences every day.

Thank you Adriana for your dedication to our community, you are appreciated.

Our New Ventilator is here! This allows our team to be ready for any birth, even without a birthing center. We've had to manually assist newborns, in the past and now we have new equipment to provide vital care until transport arrives. This life-saving technology serves everyone, from premature babies to our elderly. Thank you again to all who donated to support this JCF Hospital Foundation campaign.
