Arkansas EMS absolutely showed out today. A record breaking turn out for EMS Week. Providers from all over the state came together for the EMS Parade Of Lights. Riverside proudly joined in with all of the other amazing service providers in representing our profession at the capital today!

Today was all about community.

Riverside Ambulance was proud to spend the day at Tyronza School’s Fun Day alongside our friends at the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office and Tyronza Fire Department. From bounce houses and games to fire trucks and rescue units, it was a great day seeing kids laugh, play, and just be kids.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to serve this community both on emergencies and at events like this. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day special for these kids!

It’s officially EMS Week 2026.

This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” is a reminder that emergency care is never about just one person. It takes EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, firefighters, physicians, law enforcement, hospital staff, and entire communities working together to give patients their best chance on their worst day.

Here at Riverside Ambulance, we’re proud to serve our communities 24/7, 365 days a year. Rural EMS is built on teamwork, sacrifice, and people who answer the call no matter the hour, weather, or circumstance.

To every EMS professional out there this week: thank you for the long nights, missed holidays, difficult calls, and the compassion you continue to show every single day.

Not every call ends with a ride in the ambulance.

Our crew recently responded to a motor vehicle accident. Thankfully the person involved was not seriously injured and did not want to be transported to the hospital. But sometimes taking care of someone goes beyond medical treatment.
After making sure everything was okay, our crew stuck around to help change the tire so she could safely get back on the road. It might seem like a small thing, but to someone having a rough day, a little help can mean a lot.
At Riverside Ambulance, we believe EMS is about more than emergencies. It is about neighbors helping neighbors and serving the community however we can.
We are proud of the men and women who represent the Riverside community spirit every day.

🚑 Help Us Build Something Great for Our Community

At Riverside Ambulance, we believe an ambulance service should be more than just responding to emergencies. We want to be something the community is proud of and involved with.

Lately we have been brainstorming ways to do more for Northeast Arkansas, and we have already had some great ideas from folks in the community.

So far we have been asked about things like:

• Free CPR classes for the public
• A summer first aid camp for kids
• An emergency vehicle car show for Northeast Arkansas

We love these ideas, and we want to hear more.

Today we celebrate Employee Appreciation Day, and at Riverside Ambulance we want to recognize the incredible people who make this service what it is.

Our EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and support staff go far beyond the call of duty every single day. They answer calls at all hours of the night, in every kind of weather, and in some of the most difficult moments families can experience. They do it not for recognition, but because they genuinely care about the people they serve.

What makes Riverside special is that our team members are not just responders. They are your neighbors, your friends, and fellow members of this community. They live here, raise their families here, and take great pride in protecting the citizens of Marked Tree, Tyronza, and the surrounding area.

We are incredibly proud of this team and grateful for the dedication, compassion, and professionalism they bring to their work every day.

To our Riverside family, thank you for everything you do for this community. We appreciate you today and every day.
