The Southern Green Lake County Ambulance is hiring.
We will be adding a second Full Time position at the EMT Basic level. This FT position will be on a 24/72 schedule. Eligible candidates will have at minimum have an EMT-B state of Wisconsin license. Able to pass a back ground check and have a clean driving record. State retirement benefits, health insurance, and 40 hours of vacation per year. Pay will be $19.00 - $19.75 per hour. What a great opportunity for SGLC Ambulance and Berlin EMS to have such high level Pediatric training. The Orion Initiative has made all of this possible. Nothing is more stressful for an ambulance crew than sick Pediatric patients. This training is helping to take the edge off of that feeling.

Nikki Hilscher gave the ambulance/Fire Department money to purchase bike helmets in the memory of Scott Hilscher. Scott was the kind of guy who had a rough exterior, but a heart of gold. My apologies to Nikki as we had the helmets last year and never got them out to the PD for distribution. In the picture is Cory Strahota from the Fire Department and Cody Mclean from the police department. The PD will get the helmets to those that need them. Thank you Nikki!
