Daisy's Student Midwifery Fundraiser!
I Am A Mother to a beautiful little Queen, Founder of Mother Ma'at Doula Services I am a Holistic Homebirth Doula, A Montrice , a postpartum doula, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist blessingway facilitator, ever learning herbalist and Lover of the Chicago Community and A Student Midwife at MMCI.
My Goal is to raise funds to help me answer the call of becoming a midwife. Furthermore it is my intention to be accessible to all mothers but especially to black and brown birthing families throughout the chicagoland area and the surrounding suburbs.
A midwife -- especially a black midwife -- can tilt the balance between life and death for African American infants and their mothers. Regardless of income and education level, childbirth for black women is more dangerous than it is for white women.
I cherish and serve Black and brown families throughout the Chicagoland Area and even the surrounding Suburbs.
The Babies are our futures. Im asking that you plant a seed of positive change by supporting me on this journey.
Funds Will be Allocated to the Following:

Books & Printing: $300
Midwifery Equipment: $1,500
Travel Fees: $1,200
