November marks National Diabetes Month, a time to spotlight a condition that affects more than 38 million Americans — with nearly 1 in 5 unaware they have it.

Diabetes occurs when the body can’t properly manage blood sugar levels, which over time can lead to heart disease, kidney failure, vision loss, and other serious complications.

This month serves as a reminder of the importance of early detection, healthy eating, regular exercise, and routine screenings to help prevent or manage diabetes and support overall wellness. 💙
