I wish that every person of color especially those in Quitman County would listen to this and change who we listen to or support. We need clear and convincing change in Quitman County. Many of our elected leaders support an Administration that openly discriminates against people of color.

MS Madison S Palmer High School Queen Denellia Coleman does it again She just win win win no matter what!! She just won the speaking competition of Dr MLK Jr. Charles Jones, Sr Oratorical Contest this morning at Coahoma Community College Clarksdale, MS sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Epsilon Xi Lambda Chapter of the MS Delta, my dear ole fraternity. She competed amongst 4 other contestants from Greenville Greenwood and Clarksdale.
We are in deed proud of her individual achievements and especially this one since went through so many obstacles to get to compete. Share this post

On behalf of QCDO, its board of Directors, staff and Volunteers a hearty congratulations to Lamara Z. Gilliam, a 2025 graduate of MSPHS for receiving the Reginald D Weary Memorial Scholarship.
Lamara is attending Coahoma Community College with a major in criminal justice. This $2,000.00 award was made possible to QCDO from the REAL Christian Foundation of Richland MS. Lamara encourages everyone to vote Nov 4 in the upcoming special elections for Senator and Representative in Coahoma, Tunica, and Quitman Counties.

Another deserving student Akeelah Love of Marks received a $2,000.00 special award from the Board of Directors of QCDO from the QCHS/MSPHS Gala Fund. This deserving student will be attending MS State University this semester.
