Ever get bored with your food? How much grilled chicken and rice can one eat? I got bored, so I threw this together, and it was just perfect. I had some grilled chicken (of course), and I added some cauliflower rice and steamed frozen veggies. A nice change and I felt satisfied.

I’m having a light breakfast today, as I plan to indulge in all of the yummy food today. I love stuffing, sweet potato casserole and my mom’s cranberry mold.

I say, take this day to enjoy the food. No guilt! Just don’t eat half an apple pie, and get back on track tomorrow!

Brrrrrrr. It’s getting cold out there. Flip flops, retired. It’s getting dark really early, and I know that many people let their workouts fall by the wayside because once they’re home at night, they’re home. I get it. Do not let your health suffer because of this. Some tips for ensuring you get to the gym:

💪🏻 If you work out in the early am, have your gym clothes laid out, and set that alarm knowing that you’re starting the day off right. You’re way ahead of all of those sleeping slackers!

💪🏻 Bring your workout clothes to work and go directly to the gym after work.

💪🏻 Promise to reward yourself with new workout gear if you get to the gym 3x/week for a whole month.

💪🏻 Get an accountability partner. Someone who goes to the gym with you, or who will hold you accountable if you slack off.

💪🏻Put it in your calendar like any other appointment. You wouldn’t just blow off any other appointment, would you?

💪🏻 If you work out at home, have your equipment all set up, ready to go!

💪🏻 Know that exercise can help with stress and anxiety. Maintain that mental fitness!

Back in 2008 I was 40 lbs overweight. I was unhappy, unmotivated and just a mess.

I saw this photo of myself and said, Oh HELL NO! This ends NOW!

That was the start of the education of Robyne. I learned about healthy eating. I started walking, then doing boot camp workouts. It was hard. I almost gave up so many times. My weight went up and down. Lose a pound, gain a pound. Lose a pound, gain a pound.

One year to the day I started, I hit my goal of losing 41 lbs! My clothes fit better. I felt better. I looked better.

Since that day, I have had my struggles with weight at times, but since I knew what I needed to do to drop the weight, I was able to do it.

There’s a definite blueprint to use, and it’s pretty simple. It’s just the ex*****on that’s difficult. Trust the process. I’m no different than you.

🥘 eat enough food but be in a caloric deficit
💧stay hydrated! Drink water!
🛌 get 7-8 hours of sleep each night
🥗 eat whole foods instead of processed foods
💪🏻 work out at least 3x per week

If you’re 80% compliant, you will see results!

One of my biggest goals in life is to help others improve their health and reach THEIR goals. That’s why I do what I do. You CAN do this!
