So proud of our amazing team for raising thousands for this horrible disease. We work to help Alzheimer’s patients and their families every day and TODAY we walked to raise even more awareness for this organization….hopefully one day I can post that we have a cure, or a vaccine, or better treatment.

We crossed the finish line on a cloudy day....but we ALL were the Sun. It was an amazing day, shared with our team and all the other 148 teams. This combined effort helped collectively raise $202,586 dollars for this amazing cause. We can't thank you all enough for your contribution, and continued encouragement. ❤☀

We can not thank everyone enough for your generous donations, words of encouragement, and continued support. We are so proud of what we raised for this Saturday's walk. We returned to a local shelter to distribute hygiene kits to individuals who are displaced from their homes.

During the month of December, our office distributed warming care packages for a local shelter that houses individuals who are displaced from their homes.

We walk for everyone affected by this disease. Together with my team, we fight for a cure. We fight for them- to give them back their memories, to bring them back to their families, and give them back their lives. More than 6.7 Million Americans ages 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's in 2023. This equates to about 1 in 9 people age 65 and older being diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We see firsthand what this despicable disease eventually does to a person. We named our team "Pass the Moca" because we all work at Jersey Shore Geriatrics for the best Physician in the geriatrics field- Dr. Mark Pass. We administer baseline mini-mental and Moca examinations to determine the degree of cognitive impairment for new patients' initial assessments. Personally, the worst aspect of this sickness is watching the patient's family as they struggle to answer these basic questions. Their glances transfixed on their loved ones; with a mixture of sadness, and hopelessness. It's all too much and it physically pains my heart. Even with today's modern medicine and wonderful doctors, the roads all lead here. We need to make serious changes and stop this" monster."
