Join us for the first workshop for Sanctuary Healing Gardens on Crystal Lakeseason 🌿

On March 29 from 1–3pm, we’re gathering at Patchwork Studios — Umbra Suites (302 Water Street, Floor 4, Studio 1) to reconnect with plants, seasonal rhythms, and community care. Together, we’ll explore how herbal practices, Ayurveda, Curanderismo, and your natal astrology can help you align your body, emotions, and energy with the cycles of Spring.

✨ You’ll receive:
• Insight into your elemental makeup + personal natal chart
• A personalized Wellness Mapping Journal (PDF)
• Spring-aligned practices, including herbs and baths to support the season

Step into the new season with intention. Come learn, reflect, and grow with us 🌱

The magic of plants never leaves. 🌿 A few moments from last summer that reminded me how alive plants truly are. Chamomile opening to the sun. Bleeding hearts returning each season.
Holding medicine in my hand. And a Mimosa pudica folding inward the moment it’s touched.

Plants are constantly responding 🌿 to light, to touch, to water, to the rhythms of the earth. When we slow down enough to notice, they teach us a lot about balance, sensitivity, and connection.

That curiosity and relationship with nature is part of what inspired the Wellness Mapping with the Seasons Workshop. In this 2-3 hr workshop you will learn:

- what your elemental breakdown is based on your natal chart
- what are the current elements in Spring
- how to use this insight to create a personalized practice of spices, herbal infusions, baths and breath work to balance your mind and body

Walking through the woods reminds me how clearly nature shows us the rhythm of the seasons. Leaves come and go, temperatures change, animals prepare, and the landscape slowly continues to transform.

Our bodies are responding to these changes too — light, temperature, wind, and seasonal energy all influence how we feel. The Wellness Mapping with the Seasons workshop helps participants recognize these patterns and understand how their personal elemental makeup interacts with seasonal change.

By weaving together herbal traditions, astrology, Ayurveda, and Curanderismo practices, we begin to see how each person carries a unique relationship to the seasons.

Participants receive:
• elemental wellness insight
• a Wellness Mapping journal
• seasonal self-reflection tools
• culturally rooted health practices

This past summer, I traveled to Oaxaca, Mexico to study with community curanderos. 🇲🇽 We cooked medicinal meals, practiced limpias with eggs, sat in temazcales, and made herbal medicine by hand. Each ritual was a reminder to honor my body like the sacred vessel it is.

Rainy days remind me of the herbs I harvested this season — lemongrass, echinacea, purple basil, and chamomile — each carrying its own medicine. 🌧️🌿 These quiet moments help me remember their gifts: chamomile for rest, echinacea for strength, basil for the heart, and lemongrass for clarity.✨ Let the rain remind you of your own garden’s wisdom.

Grateful to www.munaywasi.org, where I sat among sacred plants, drumbeats, and songs. 🌿 Seeing young people carry on these traditions fills me with hope. Keeping native wisdom alive is the greatest act of healing we can offer the future.✨ Protect the roots that protect you.

This past summer, my family and I gathered flowers from to honor my aunt’s passing anniversary — turning them into a wreath of remembrance. 🌺 Honoring the dead with flowers has always been part of our family tradition — a way to celebrate life, love, and memory through the beauty of nature. Every bloom becomes an offering, every petal a prayer.✨ May we continue to remember our ancestors through the flowers that connect us. 💀
