With the new guidelines being set in place by the CDC and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, we are updating a few of our expectations. We are considered a health care facility and will continue to require face coverings to be worn in the common areas of the Center. If you are fully vaccinated, you may remove your face covering once in the treatment room. If you are not fully vaccinated, you will be expected to keep your face covering on 100% of the time. Please notify your practitioner of your vaccination status if you haven't already.

We will continue to ask that only clients enter the Center but if a caregiver is needed to assist with care, the caregiver is welcome. We will also be continuing our rigorous cleaning protocols and control plans to ensure everyone's safety here at MWC. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact us at 508-460-3399 anytime. Thank you for your patience as we re-emerge into our "new normal".

What a day it’s been! I had started my first client of my day and was waiting for my second when a woman walked in and told me she was in the area and there to do a random inspection on behalf of the State’s Massage Therapy board. I pointed out the licenses on the wall, showed her my control plan, my checklists in every room, my modified tables, my cleaning protocols, my covered linens, my open front door so nobody had to touch it, everything she would want to see. She asked me about my self-attestation logs, my contact tracing plans, am I asking clients about Covid signs, the whole nine yards. I told her everything I had worked so hard to prepare for during quarantine. As a result, I got “wow, you are really on top of it!” And I passed the inspection with flying colors! On the sheet she wrote, “very clean. Covid ready.” Another man came in and looked around but when he saw her approval and my transparency, he nodded and they walked out. I could not have done it without the help of soooooo many people! Diana Fernandes, Marianne Volpe, Doreen Carlisle, Michelle Adams Grasso (who welcomed me into the weekly Wellness Owners zoom meetings every Monday with open arms ❤️ and became a friend I didn’t expect to find), the MEDC for supporting me with the PPE Grant, David Morticelli from Avidia Bank who helped me with the PPP Lian when my own bank wouldn’t, my husband Jake Dalbec who was patient while I sat writing it all up and on the phone with colleagues, my kids who left me alone when I told them I was working to reopen and celebrated the day with cheers when Governor Baker gave us the green light to open, and Christy Crivellaro (another friend I didn’t expect to find ❤️ PPP buddies for life!)...I thank everyone for your guidance, assistance, friendship and the unwavering belief that we could reopen safely and serve our clients who needed us so badly. Thank you 🙏 I am forever indebted and appreciative. ❤️🥰🙏❤️

You are our #1 priority! And at the Marlborough Wellness Center, we've always been fanatical about cleanliness...but we want you to know that when we reopen (most likely in Phase 2), we have stepped up our cleaning and disinfecting process, to keep YOU as SAFE as possible. Equipment, rooms, and treatment tables will be wiped down after every client with a thorough deep cleaning happening at the end of the day. Detailed protocols have been created and we will be self-attested per the State's requirements. We look forward to seeing you in our "New Normal"!

It is with a heavy heart but thoughtful mind that I've decided to close the Center for in-person treatments until further notice. I will still be available by email for herbal prescriptions and health questions. These are unprecedented times and hopefully we'll be back to work soon but until then, stay safe, stay distant from people, and stay healthy! ,
