Today, we remember September 11, 2001.
We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed us what courage and community look like in the face of tragedy.

At the Addiction Referral Center (ARC), we believe recovery is also built on courage, resilience, and the strength of community. Just as our nation came together in unity after 9/11, we know that healing happens when no one walks alone.

At the Addiction Referral Center (ARC), we understand that “home” can take many forms in early recovery.
For some, it means moving into a sober living environment after treatment. Through Project BRAVE (Building Recovery Accessibility through Validation and Equity), you may qualify for your first month’s rent free, helping to remove financial barriers to safe housing.
✨ What Project BRAVE provides — at no cost:
• Free first month’s rent in sober housing (for those eligible)
• Transportation to detox programs
• Care Bags with essential items
• One-on-one Recovery Coaching
It’s okay to be in transition. Whether you’re staying with family or rebuilding trust in a sober house, ARC is here to help you take the next step forward.

Today, we join millions around the world in observing International Overdose Awareness Day.
At the Addiction Referral Center (ARC), we believe it is our responsibility to shine a light on recovery, compassion, and hope — and to work together to eliminate the stigma surrounding substance use disorder. Stigma isolates, but understanding and empathy save lives.
We also hold close in our hearts the parents and families who have lost a child or loved one to overdose. Your grief is immeasurable, and your courage to continue speaking out helps others know they are not alone.

Join us as we honor and remember the lives lost to overdose, support those grieving, and raise awareness in our community.

🕔 Memorial slideshow at 6:45 p.m.
🕖 Speakers & ceremony at 7:30 p.m.
📍 Frank D. Walker Building, 255 Main Street, Marlborough, MA
(Rain location: Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St.)
✨ The evening will include:
• Memorial Slideshow
• Candle Lighting Ceremony
• Guest Speakers
• Free Narcan distribution
In memory of the 1,314 lives lost in Massachusetts in 2024, purple flags will be displayed on the Walker Building lawn.
