Acupuncture is covered by many insurances including MA Health Connector plans and some Medicare supplement plans!

Open enrollment for MA Health Connector starts on November 1st and Medicare was on October 15th.

You may want to consider what plan you are selecting if you are interested in utilizing acupuncture benefits. I am an in network provider with most all insurances and have worked closely with these plans that include acupuncture benefits. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or would like additional details.

I am very much looking forward to seeing everyone again at the center! We are scheduled to continue treatments as part of phase 2, so will likely be back for the week of June 8th! Currently, we are setting up extensive new protocols in line with CDC guidelines and specific to our field. We are thankful to have such a great team to build a positive and safe reopening! If there are any questions regarding these changes, please feel free to reach out to me. I am always available to help in any way that I can! I hope that despite all we have been through with this, you were able to moments of peace and joy with your family and those you love!

In Support of the First United Methodist Church of Hudson's FOOD RELIEF DRIVE due to the Corona virus, I will be collecting donations this afternoon!!

If you reside in Hudson and interested in donating, please leave your non perishable donations near your mailbox and I will pick them up TODAY in the late afternoon around 3, then deliver them to the church!

Private message me your address so that I will know where to locate the donations.

If you reside outside of Hudson and would like to donate, I can meet you, with social distancing of course, at Stop and Shop in Hudson this afternoon or you can drop off your donations directly at First United Methodist Church of Hudson at 34 Felton St. There are bins at the back of the church near the handicap entrance and overhang.

The food relief HELPS HUDSON FAMILIES whose children receive the schools’ free or reduced-cost breakfast and lunch, senior residents and anyone unable to work!

PLEASE consider any donation, even if small! Every donation will make a significant difference in the lives of those in need!

I'm sad to report that I just cancelled my acupuncture and herbal medicine appointments at this point due to the corona virus but am grateful to know that it will be helping to keep each other safe! I will be available for anyone who would like to talk or would like information on what we are doing in our household to stay healthy and prevent infection from herbal medicine to supplements! I plan on being a support in anyway that I can as we move through this and looking for others ways that I can contribute such as giving blood and continued education. Love and respect to all Veterans! One of the most challenging and rewarding components of my acupuncture practice has been supporting these Veterans through a myriad of health issues and life experiences. I give thanks to them for all they have given up for us. I am still working closely with the Veterans' Administration who cover acupuncture for our vets and am happy to help in any way that I can. Please just have them reach out to their primary care provider at the VA and they will set up an authorization for their care. With gratitude, I will continue to serve those who have served us! Thank you!

As of May 1st, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA is now contracting with acupuncturists! Though covered services currently are only for the Federal Employee Program (FEP), we will have to monitor for changes to other plans in the upcoming years. I continue to be an in network provider for various other insurance companies also. Full acupuncture coverage benefits can be found with plans such as Tufts Health Together, BMC Healthnet, Fallon 365, Tufts and United Senior Care Options and Veterans Administration. Certain plans under Harvard Pilgrim, Cigna, United and Allways have coverage with a copay or after deductible has been met. I am always available to provide additional information regarding insurance coverage or Traditional Chinese Medicine!

Honored to officially be a kripalu 200 hour registered yoga teacher! The learning opportunity is really just beginning and I am so very grateful to be taught in a tradition firmly rooted in yoga's original philosophy and practice! Many thanks to all the precious people that have made this such a special experience!

Off to Kripalu Yoga and Health Center for 12 days to finish my 200 hour registered yoga teacher training! Feeling blessed to have the opportunity to study with such inspirational teachers and to gain more insight from this traditional philosophy and way of life!
