Feeling not quite ready for the Open?

Come chat with me about it! Only 3 spots remain for a 20 minute injury screen with me Saturday March 1 from 8-10am in my office at Resilience.

What you’ll gain:
1. Evaluate your movement: checking range of motion, flexibility, strength, and posture
2. Discuss your symptoms: identify potential issues along side medical history
3. Offer Personalized advice: on how to manage pain or improve function, and if PT is the logical next step or you should see another practitioner first.

See the link in Bio.

All filled up? You can also schedule a phone call with me.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah everyone! I’ll be out of office until January 6 excepting December 30th.

May you all enjoy the slowness and quiet moments as much as the festivities!

I have such gratitude to each and every one of you who has supported me in a big or small way along the past 5 years. Your trust in me means so much more than you could ever imagine.

I’ll be taking a much needed break the next few days in London to celebrate my 40th trip around this sun. It’s been a fun ride so far and I don’t anticipate that changing anytime soon!

If you need me you all know how to get ahold of me! I hope everyone has a great rest of the week. ❤️✈️

Having Jaw Pain?

Here’s a few easy things to avoid that can help decrease your pain levels:

❌Chewing Gum: repeated chewing can cause the muscles to fatigue which may cause pain. You may also be clenching that gum without realizing it!

❌Resting your hand on your face/jaw: I know, it’s tempting to do this when you’re tired or bored, so get your butt alllllll the way back in that chair and lead back on the head rest instead.

❌Extensive slouching/forward head posture: Let me be clear: there’s NO such thing as bad posture. Or best posture for that matter. But, staying in a hunched over position for too long (or any position) isn’t great for you. Aim to change positions about every 20 minutes or so.

❌Chewy Foods: Sorry steak, gummy bears, and giant sandwiches! We love you, but eating foods that aren’t so difficult to chew for a little while can help to alleviate pain the jaw.

✅As always, this isn’t medical advice, just education. If you’re having jaw pain or headaches, let’s chat about it. I’d love to get to know you and help! Send me a DM.

Be resilient to the finish.
