Last week I had a potential client come to Summit 24-7 Fitness to talk with me about possible therapy services. We have never met before. I was working with a current client at the time so I was trying to be respectful to my current client while answering her questions. Her first comment to me was, "I want that!" As we were working on the leg press I said that was always a possibility. She said, "No, I want what she has.....you actually working with me. I have had therapy in the past where they just give me a hand out and let me go do it, no interaction with the therapist besides the occasional "how are you doing? I want your brand of physical therapy!"

I had time to reflect on this over the weekend and the more that I did the more grateful and humbled I became letting those words sink in. I am truly blessed for all of my experiences both good and bad which led me to where I am today. I am grateful that I am able to provide this community with a brand of skilled physical therapy like no other. When I say, "Therapy care you deserve!", I truly mean it. It brings me great joy to help good people in need.
Thank you to everyone that has supported me on my journey to where I am today. So grateful to each and every one of you. From a simple "thumbs uping" a post, to leaving us a comment, to referring someone to me for care. I have always taken great pride in what I do and how I represent myself, my profession, my education and my family.

Just wanted to let you all know that I am grateful for each and everyone of you who took a minute to read this. Thank you 🙏

We had a facial hair competition today at Smith Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine here at Summit 24-7 Fitness and for the first time, Dr. Smith came in second place thanks to our special guest entrant, Pepper the service dog!

Pepper celebrated by showering Dr. Smith many kisses! Dr. didn't seem to mind losing to such a gracious winner.

Wanted to share my appreciation and joy for this wonderful woman, Mrs. Judy Kalbfleisch! She has put in the hard work and has finally reached her "summit" on her road of recovery here at Smith Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Summit 24-7 Fitness. It has been such an honor to be a part of her journey.

These moments are always so bittersweet but so special! Will miss seeing her on a regular basis but am so thrilled that we have reached all of her goals!

Thank you Judy for entrusting me with your therapy care! It is truly a humbling honor and pleasure!

Smith Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Summit 24-7 Fitness had its first ever employee pull up contest and we are proud to announce that Dr. Michael Smith won the contest with an amazing performance of 56 reps!

He insisted on no videoing the performance however he did not say anything about pictures! He hardly broke a sweat too!

In all seriousness, Summit 24-7 Fitness is a great place to work out! Such great members, equipment, trainers and physical therapy services embedded in the heart of our community. Come check out this amazing facility located at 6444 Morris Street in Marlette. You will be thrilled you did!

Had two wonderful visitors come into clinic today! Thank you to Brenda Myers and Maureen Ondrus for bringing some added joy to our day here at Smith Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Summit 24-7 Fitness in Marlette! You both seem so short next to Dr. Smith though.... I bet he was standing on his tippy toes 🤣
