✨ Employee Spotlight ✨

This week, we are shining the spotlight on our Director of Nursing, Jamie! 💙

Jamie graduated from Bremond High School before earning her ADN from McLennan Community College and her BSN from UT Arlington. She has been a Registered Nurse for 11 years, with 8 of those years spent right here at Golden Years!

Jamie says she started at Golden Years as a “baby nurse,” and the experience helped shape her into the nurse and leader she is today. Over the years, she has learned so much from both our residents and staff, who hold a very special place in her heart. She describes Golden Years as a place filled with compassionate people, wonderful residents, and a sense of family that is hard to find anywhere else. 💫

Jamie has been married to her husband, Calvin, for 15 years, and together they have three children — Jaylin (18), James (13), and Wiley (9). In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with family, and cheering on her kids in all of their activities.

We are so thankful for Jamie’s leadership, compassion, and dedication to our residents and staff each and every day! 💙
