1 Link 4 Senior Care, Inc.

1 Link 4 Senior Care, Inc. 1 Link is a dedicated team of licensed and nationally certified professionals in the field of aging and adult health. It is always the client's right to choose!

We help clients make informed decisions and discern the best and most cost-effective care available to further improve quality of life. We have 2 separate divisions to meet the needs of our clients:

1 Link 4 Senior Care, Inc. Serving the aging population ages 65 and over
1 Link 4 Care
Serving the needs of younger adults ages 18-64

What We Do

- Explore and define all the available care options based on the senior's physical condition, financial resources, home environment, and family support systems.

- Guide families through the process, working out a plan for safe and appropriate home or facility-based care.

- Coordinate services, pre-screening service providers for quality care and cost-effectiveness.

- Assist in accessing and procuring any programs, benefits or entitlements under federal, state, local or community services.

- Help put the legal documents in place to insure their wishes are met and that someone they trust can speak on their behalf when they are no longer able do so. How We Help

Our Certified Resource Specialist will work with the family to determine the needs and options available. If there are clinical issues to be resolved, then there will be an offer of a clinical expert for that particular problem. Very often Medicare or other insurance will pay for clinical intervention. All costs will be approved by the client in advance. Improving one's quality of life is our only goal.

“The Tdap vaccination offers older adults protection against three serious illnesses: tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (whooping cough). Health officials say older adults who have never had a Tdap vaccination should get one dose and then a booster every 10 years. Whooping cough and diphtheria are highly contagious, so getting vaccinated protects people from spreading disease in their communities.” For more information, click on the link below.

“Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease are often spoken about interchangeably, but they are not the same condition. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia, but there are many other types of dementia. Although it can be scary or challenging to acknowledge changes within ourselves or someone close to us, it is important to do so and take action. Early detection of memory issues can allow you to participate in care planning decisions and explore clinical trials.” To learn more about dementia including ways to help slow or prevent onset, warning signs and symptoms, and actions steps to take, click on the link below.

Below is how the Federal cuts will effect residents of New Jersey:

Also known as NJ Family Care in New Jersey, the recent budget cuts will negatively impact communities across the entire state. It will take time to fully feel this exact impact, Hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare providers are preparing for these cuts now.

Here are just some ways we can expect to see NJ families affected:
• 350,000 eligible New Jerseyans will lose their coverage. That’s 1 out of every 5 covered residents.
• $3.3 billion cut from hospitals and public health. Hospitals, as a result, may need to cut staff, services, or even shut down entirely.
• $360 million cut from the state budget due to restrictions in federal funding

Contact your Congressman or Senator if you are directly impacted or have any questions or concerns.

"The R-word is everywhere again. It’s showing up on social media, in schools, in entertainment, in the media, and in everyday conversations. This isn’t a minor slip in language. It’s a sign that empathy, dignity, and basic decency are being lost—and that impacts all of us. Choosing not to say the R-word is a start, but it’s not enough. We need more people to understand why the R-word is offensive, why it’s still harmful, and why it must stop.

Listen to people with IDD who have lived with the weight of this word their entire lives."

The R-word is not just a word—it’s a slur that harms people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Read powerful firsthand stories of the pain this word causes.

"Caregiving, a new documentary created with executive producer Bradley Cooper, highlights the challenges and triumphs of caregiving in America.

The two-hour documentary is centered on the personal experiences of caregivers providing for loved ones, and the challenges and triumph they face each day. As the number of caregivers declines, and the number of individuals requiring care in our country increases, the challenges grow. Caregivers require differing types and levels of support. At times, the burdens of caregiving can seem unbearable, regardless of resources. The “needs gap” for information may be greater for caregivers than it is for care recipients. The film will explore these issues and shine a light on innovation for 21st century caregiving.

The two-hour documentary will premiere Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on wellbeings.org, PBS, and the PBS YouTube Channel. Stream now on the PBS App and PBS.org." https://wellbeings.org/series/caregiving/

From Executive Producer, Bradley Cooper, comes a new documentary on the state and stakes of providing care in America.
