Hawthorn properties across the nation had a fitness challenge this past winter; to help us all remain active after the holidays were over. Marlton Gardens placed in the top three performing properties, and we are so proud of all our residents in their achievement. Our home office came this past Tuesday and helped us celebrate with Ice Cream Sundaes of course!

We had an in-depth presentation on Strength and Mobility today from our amazing partner at Bayada, Mr. Bradley Dobson. Programs like these are amazing ways to keep our residents informed and continuing to engage in their own health and wellness.

We would like to thank the Burlington County Library System for their wonderful presentation this morning. Mr. Garrett Wilson introduced us to all that the library has to offer and their Mobile Learning Lab Events Catalog. We are looking forward to their next visit. We have many residents that enjoy the book mobile every two weeks and what a treat to have the reference librarian here in person today.

Our knitting and crochet club is hard at work on their new project. They are making newborn baby hats to donate to a local hospital. Their hats will make quite a splash and be very appreciated; just look at how cute cuddly they look. Our club's last project was a soap sack and washcloth package to our service men and women. So proud of the work they are doing.

In honor of Earth Day, we went to visit Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge today. Jeremy, our fearless driver, took everyone on an adventure. Supporting this amazing organization on this special day feels like a small token of appreciation for what they do for our community and region.

Our monthly Cannabis Education program by Wisdom and Wellness Collective focused on cannabis in sports today. They featured Dr. Elizabeth Thompson and women owned brands Miss Grass, Rove, and Ohana Grow were also here. A fantastic opportunity for our residents to engage and learn. Thanks to Jane's Joint owner, Trina Ragsdale, for bringing this great program to our community. See you here next month!
