We want to tell you a story about a client who healed because of gifts from people like you. When our team first met Dylan, he was a sweet, smart, autistic child with ADHD - full of energy, but struggling to stay grounded. He was adopted, and his parents were doing their best, but every day felt like a battle. Dylan couldn’t sit still at meals or focus during conversations. He’d flail, spin, fall apart over the smallest things. His parents were overwhelmed and, like so many, defaulted to yelling, not out of anger, but out of desperation.

Then, Child Guidance's Family First program was called in. Our clinician came to the house and saw the chacos around - and she also noticed Dylan’s feet dangled when he sat. So she brought a block to put under his chair. And just like that—he could plant his feet. He could settle. He could regulate.

This was just the beginning. We worked with the family on calming strategies, connection over correction, and tools to support his unique brain. And they got better. Together.

✨ This healing? It happened because someone like you gave. You helped us show up at that house. You helped Dylan plant his feet and his parents find the skills they needed to love him exactly as he is.

🧡 On Giving Day, your gift makes stories like Dylan’s possible.Let’s keep showing up for families when they need it most: www.cgrc.org/donate

At a time when mental health needs are rising, and vital programs like Medicaid face devastating cuts, your support matters more than ever before. Every day, families turn to Child Guidance Resource Centers in moments of crisis. Whether it’s a child struggling with anxiety, a teen experiencing suicidal thoughts, a family healing from loss, or navigating a new diagnosis, we are there.

But without support from people like you, many families risk losing the care they depend on.💡Tomorrow on Social Media Giving Day, you can help bridge that gap. You can make sure no child is turned away. No parent feels helpless. No school goes unsupported.

Mark your calendar and spread the word. Let’s show up for kids—together!
