Here's what my client Linda had to say today-

"I was a little hesitant to start working with a trainer. I'm 62 years old, overweight and out of shape. My friend encouraged me to give Michael a try. It's been 4 weeks since starting. I am surprised how much more energy I have. The weight is coming off slowly, down 5 pounds! I'm eating healthier, drinking more water. I no longer feel the need to nap in the afternoons. Prior to this I always ran out of steam around 2p each day. I'm encouraged, because I see changes that will only get better as we move along. Michael is kind and very respectful. He understands how to modify exercises to meet my limitations. He is very encouraging, helps me to stay motivated. For years I used to think I was breathing properly. Then I discovered that my diaphragm and abdomen were locked up with triggerpoints. Trigger points are when a muscle cannot fully lengthen and is stuck in a short in position. Breathing incorrectly can cause a humongous number of symptoms including anxiety, body aches and pains, weight problems, digestive issues, poor performance in athletic activities, allergies, asthma, etc.

I’ll be making more content on this topic in the future but for now try and breathe from the diaphragm and see how it feels. If it’s been a while since you’ve taken a full proper breath, it will feel intense.  Make sure you’re laying down for this one.
