We'd like to update you on Jamie Weeder... she recently accepted a new role & position with FBS, working with our Therapy Clients, as a Pre-Licensed Masters Level Social Work Intern. Her background includes community organizing, theatre, and arts-based facilitation, which she weaves into her therapeutic approach to help clients explore their emotions in creative and restorative ways. Jamie is committed to fostering spaces where people can process difficult feelings through narrative, ritual, and embodied expression, encouraging both reflection and transformation.
She utilizes strength-based practice, relational presence, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to assist clients in identifying coping skills, reframing painful experiences, and building resilience. Jamie is especially interested in how grief literacy and creative engagement can deepen self-understanding, nurture connection, and expand possibilities for healing.
