Our office will be closing at 12:00pm today as our staff will be doing CPR training and recertification. We will reopen at 7:00am tomorrow, but also will be closing at 12:00pm.

Should you need anything urgently during this time, please utilize the hospital operator by calling 906-449-3000 and ask for the doctor on call for South Shore Family Practice.

Check out this local event, Backpack SOS, put on by Silver Creek Church for your kiddos starting school that may need some supplies! August 16th, 2025.

Backpack SOS at Silver Creek is quickly approaching and will take place on Saturday, August 16 from 9AM-11AM here at Silver Creek Church! As part of this awesome event, we will once again be giving away backpacks, school supplies and clothing vouchers to help children in our community be prepared to head back to school!

Make sure you plan on being there to get your child what they need to start the year off right! Children do not need to be present on that day, although it is suggested they are there so they can pick out the backpack of their choosing!

FYI: Our office will be closing early this week on Thursday (8/7) and Friday (8/8) for CPR training and a volunteer opportunity for our staff.
We will be closing at 12:00pm both days. Please keep this in mind should you need us in the upcoming days.

Our office will be closing at noon today, July 25th, 2025 as downtown town Marquette has Blueberry Fest activities going on today that our staff can get out and enjoy!

If you have an appointment today, our parking lot is open, but there are closures of the surrounding streets to the office. We will be accessible via south Third St.

Should you need anything urgently while we are closed, we do have a doctor on call via the hospital switchboard by calling 906-449-3000. Non-urgent matters may be left on our office answering machine and will be checked when we reopen on Monday.

It's that time of year that we celebrate blueberries! The annual Blueberry Festival will be taking place downtown Marquette this Friday July 25th. Our office will be closing at noon that day.
Please keep in mind that we do ask for 72 business hours for medication refills. Please contact our office should you need anything prior to our early closing time.

Our office will be closing at 3:00pm today, July 3rd that our staff may enjoy a little extra time with their families for the holiday weekend!

We are available in office until 3:00pm today and after that any urgent matters you may reach the doctor on call through the hospital switchboard by calling 906-449-3000 and asking for the doctor on call for South Shore Family Practice.
Non- urgent matters may be left on our office answering machine and will not be addressed until the following business day (Monday July 7th, 2025).

The 4th of July is quickly approaching and we will have reduced business hours in the later part of the week.
On Thursday, July 3rd we will be CLOSING EARLY at 3:00pm and we will be CLOSED all day on Friday the 4th.
We will have a doctor on call available through the hospital switchboard while closed for urgent matters. Non-urgent matters may be left on our answering machine, but will not be addressed until the following Monday.

If you need refills prior to the dates we will be closed, please keep in mind we ask for 72 business hours to process these. Thank you!

Hello friends, we have again been informed of a new scam out there - this time coming through as a text posing as our office. Please know any text from our office will have identifying factors from us. If you are hesitant, please call us, don't click!

We have received a few phone calls from patients informing us of a potential scam call situation involving our office phone number.
It is unfortunate in these days that there is a lot of scam calls out there. Please be mindful and make sure to give information only to a trusted source.

If you have any concern of a phone call that sounds a little fishy, disguised as our office please reach out as soon as possible and our staff will be happy to verify if the call originated from our office or not.
