Medical oddities abound. One unfamiliar to most is Mueller-Weiss Syndrome which can lead to a strangely collapsed foot. In this condition, part of a bone in the arch dies, causing it to collapse. This allows the bone behind it to gradually fall forward and down, changing foot architecture. Dr. Conway McLean, a board certified podiatric physician, discusses Mueller-Weiss in the latest Health Matters article.
