THINGS WE ARE PROUD OF IN 2025!

As a family, we had a pizza and cake party on the floor in our office tonight to celebrate the year. We teared up reminiscing on how we love Marquette and feel extremely thankful to have this community and caring for you all.

As we share these celebrations from the year, as we were opening up, so many people would tell us not to give away care to those in need because of the lack of profit.

We are so proud to share we gave away over $45,000 dollars of care this year to lower income families, and every penny was worth caring for those individuals and families.

The last celebration from Little Lovely is a little secret we have slowly been sharing and she’s SO EXCITED (as we all are).

Thanks for the best year and we are looking forward to 2026!

Everyone focuses on New Years Resolutions and we know sometimes they get a bad reputation because most people don’t complete them (around 80% 😳), but at TLW we will ALWAYS celebrate taking time to better care for yourself! It is always a win when a busy parent, working adult, or struggling kiddo actively participate in their health.

Here’s to a healthier year and 2026!

P.S. Both acupuncture and chiropractic are usually covered in HSA/FSA, so with the new year, invest in yourself!

Postpartum definitely deserves a post on its own; A tender time of getting to know baby, yourself as a mother, all while healing from birth.

I absolutely LOVE when moms come in the office postpartum. It’s a time for them to receive care to support their own body to better show up for their babies.

Many challenges can show up in postpartum: Milk production issues, aches and pains in the shoulders from holding a baby, c-section scar mobility issues, and mental health struggles.

I love how acupuncture holds women postpartum and the research also supports it. If you have any questions about acupuncture during pregnancy and postpartum, please reach out or schedule an appointment with the link in our bio.

Breech babies, swelling, stress! All the third trimester worries and concerns.

Third trimester is often when there can be a wrench thrown in our optimal-birth and pregnancy plans. Supporting your body holistically can reduce the physical and mental health stressors placed on you and baby to improve outcomes.

As always, coming in EARLIER for care always provides the best results.

Often moms skip care in the second trimester because they usually feel better. However, this is a perfect time to continue care so when small issues arise, they do not turn to larger ones!

I notice moms who continue care throughout pregnancy often feel better throughout, have improved mood, and better labor outcomes.

Let’s reintroduce ourselves!: Part 2

Our wonderful assistant, baby holder, appointment scheduler, and doing of many things is Megan Nowicki

Megan started MoxieMoms 906 in 2024 after the loss of her daughter, Delaney, in 2021. She’s also the co-owner with her husband, Joe, of NNW tree service. She has a bachelors degree in psychology (she loves people), and has a love for all things self care (acupuncture, massage, therapy, working out, supplements, friendship/girl time).

A fun fact: She has worked in so many different industries and truly believe that each and every job has provided her with the tools, work ethic, compassion and motivation to make a difference. From her first ever job as a dishwasher, to waitressing, becoming a ski lift operator in Colorado, to a salon receptionist, a dental assistant and working for almost a decade as a program specialist in higher education, she believes these experiences have humbled her. She has her own personal struggles and triumphs that allow her the ability to genuinely connect with each patient that comes to TLW.

Megan says, “I am exactly where I am meant to be professionally and I’m so thankful for TWL and for the services Dr Kevin and Dr Brianne provide to myself, my family & our community.”
