Dr. Shibu Varughese is a Board-certified Medical Oncologist with years of experience in treating neuropathic pain associated with chemotherapy. In 2017, he began his quest to create natural, topical medications that would provide pain relief for his patients who suffered from neuropathic pain associated with chemotherapy. With divine inspiration from God and a vast knowledge from his previous career as a pharmacist, he successfully extracted natural oils from different parts of medicinal herbs that were carefully mixed and heated to achieve a fixed and activated state. The results from using this product showed quick pain relief and decreased the use of oral pain medications including opiates. This inspired him to create a combination of activated oils to treat joint aches, muscle aches, and neck and back pain. This opened an exciting avenue to treat pain using natural and holistic methods, and this is how Rapha Botanicals came to life.
