It’s hard to believe it’s been 30 years since I first picked up a handpiece and started this journey. Thirty years ago, I took a leap of faith—fresh out of dental school—with no business background, no safety net, and only a dream in my heart. I opened my practice straight away, starting with incredibly humble beginnings: two operatories, outfitted with used dental equipment and hand-me-down instruments. There was nothing fancy about it—just a lot of hard work, determination, and heart. But what I lacked in resources, I made up for with passion, grit, and an unshakable belief that I could build something meaningful.
Today, I look around and feel immense gratitude. What started as a dream has now become the practice of my dreams. I never could have imagined the life that dentistry would give me—both professionally and personally. This profession has been more than just a career; it’s been a calling. And I can honestly say that I love dentistry now more than ever.
Dentistry has been fulfilling in ways I can’t even begin to explain. It’s given me the opportunity to impact lives, not just treat teeth. I’m not doing “everyday dentistry”—I’m changing lives. And that is the most rewarding part of this journey.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of those around me. To my family and friends—thank you for believing in me, for trusting me, and for always being in my corner.
To my amazing team—you are the engine that keeps this practice running and the soul that makes it so special. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to work with these incredible ladies every day. You’re more than just coworkers — you’re family. The support, laughter, and dedication we share mean everything to me.

A special thank-you to the Pankey Institute for reigniting my passion for dentistry and giving me a renewed sense of purpose. Pankey helped me rediscover the “why” behind what I do. It taught me to lead with intention, to grow as a clinician, and more importantly—as a person. After 30 years, I still consider myself a student of this craft.
I don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. I will always be eager to learn, to improve, and to deepen my relationships—with my patients, my team, and this profession that I love so deeply. I’ve worked incredibly hard to be able to practice dentistry on my terms—without the limitations of dental insurance companies dictating care. And I take great pride in knowing that the work we do here is guided by purpose, passion, and a commitment to excellence. So, here’s to 30 years of purpose-driven dentistry, and to the many more to come. Thank you all for being part of this journey.
