Quick announcement:
The optical will be closed tomorrow, 8/28/2025! We are having some new equipment installed and our wonderful optical staff will be learning how to use it. If you have glasses ready to be picked up or need to order, we ask that you either come in today or wait until Friday. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

Dr. Whiddon will still be available for patient care as usual, so if you have an appointment or need to get checked out, come on in!

Dr. Whiddon fit Emma in our "Ortho-K" lenses. She wears them overnight to correct her nearsightedness. They reshape the cornea to eliminate the need for corrective lenses during the day, and help stop the progression of myopia. Call us today to see if you're a candidate for this treatment.

Dr. Whiddon is now excited to offer you a new option for the treatment of myopia (nearsightedness).
CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy) lenses, also known as orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses, can be a non-surgical alternative to Lasik or PRK. These lenses can get you out of glasses or daytime contacts. It can also slow or stop the progression of myopia in children!
