Our physicians and advanced practice providers recently had a chance to try out Trackchairs through The Action Foundation’s Tow & Go program — an exciting new initiative that will allow people with mobility challenges to borrow a Trackchair to get out and explore the outdoors.
Beyond learning how this resource can benefit patients, our team had a blast taking the chairs for a spin. Was there a little friendly racing involved? Maybe! 🏁😉

We are spreading the word that healing starts with full stomachs. 🍎 This week, Avera's Wellness Pantry program expanded into several more clinics and appeared on the cover of this month's MED Magazine. The program provides local families with emergency food bags to help fight food insecurity in Parkston and Sioux Falls, SD.In collaboration with Feeding South Dakota, Avera Research Institute and Avera's Community Partnerships program, the pantries are funded by grant dollars from the federal Healthy Start grant to improve maternal and infant health.
