Activity: Candy molds with Millie

Story: A core memory for Millie was when she used to make candy molds in Sweet Springs, Mo. She would pass out some to the funeral directors in Marshall, Sedalia, Warrensburg, and Lamonte. She started a little before thanksgiving time giving out the candy molds. She said she would send some home with her family members and even had some returning customers stop by every year. Making chocolate candy molds became a tradition for her and her late husband. Millie enjoyed reminiscing on one of her favorite hobbies.
