Summer Shipping Reminder ☀️

As temperatures rise, we wanted to reassure our clients about something we get asked every year regarding shipped medications.

During the summer months, it is very common for medications to arrive cool or room temperature rather than ice cold by the time they reach your doorstep. This does NOT mean the medication is ineffective or unsafe.

These medications are shipped with temperature stability guidelines in mind, and brief periods outside of refrigeration during transit are expected and accounted for by the pharmacy and manufacturer recommendations. Ice packs naturally thaw during shipping, especially in Texas heat, but that alone does not indicate a problem with your medication.

Once your package arrives:
• Bring it inside as soon as possible
• Refrigerate it promptly if instructed
• Avoid leaving it outdoors or in a hot vehicle

At New You, we work with licensed pharmacies and closely monitor shipping practices to help ensure your medications arrive safely and appropriately handled year-round.
