HARVEST SALAD! 🥗 It’s not quite time for the fall soups or comfort food, so this definitely hits the spot this week….😋

I’ll be munching on this most of the week with it packed full of gut friendly fiber and protein!

Harvest Salad:

Spring greens 🥬
Roasted sweet potatoes 🍠
Roasted broccoli 🥦
Roasted red onion 🧅
Roasted chickpeas
Quinoa/lentils mixed
Chopped apple 🍎
Edamame
Pumpkin seeds 🎃
Dried cranberries (sweetened with apple juice)

*optional ingredients: crumbled feta, meat of your choice, pine nuts, pears 🍐 , your favorite squash, etc. (I made Wade some quick hamburger to add to it.)

Dressing: I did a tahini/maple syrup/dijon mustard/apple cider vinegar mixture, but any honey mustard type dressing would be great! 🍯 😋

It's important for adults to be active and keep their bodies moving, plus this will set a positive example for your kids to follow along! Kids require movement every day just like you! And, chiropractic plays a role...

GOT THE MENOPAUSE? Hey ladies, I am Menopause Fitness Specialist, and I hear you! I'm going through it now too. And, I can say that it definitely isn't fun. 😕

This time in our lives makes our bodies go absolutely freakin' crazy! The hormonal imbalance creates hurricane level symptoms. Things like....

- Weight gain

They are completely focused on overloading with protein, they tend to forget the super important nutrient....FIBER.

You cannot and will not balance your hormones and lose weight by eating tons of animal protein. You'll lose some weight, but you won't keep it off and you will not balance your hormones.

Your body gives you signals for a reason—pain is often the first sign that something in your spine or muscles isn’t functioning properly. Ignoring discomfort can lead to:

- Chronic tension or stiffness
- Misalignment in your spine
- Muscle imbalances
- Increased risk of injury over time

What to do instead:
📌Pay attention to persistent aches or sharp pains
📌Track when it happens and what activities make it worse
📌Schedule a chiropractic assessment early to catch problems before they escalate

Chiropractic care isn’t just for emergencies—it’s preventative too! Early adjustments and soft tissue therapy can correct misalignments, relieve pressure, and restore proper movement before small issues become bigger ones.

Functional medicine testing like DUTCH can pinpoint imbalances in hormones to guide your wellness plan.

Dr. Belle explains the benefits of more natural therapies that you might want to try!

Did you know your muscles and joints work hand-in-hand? When one is tight or out of balance, the other often compensates—leading to pain, stiffness, or even injuries.

Combining chiropractic adjustments with soft tissue therapy (like cupping, Graston/IASTM, or muscle work) can:

- Improve mobility & flexibility
- Reduce pain and inflammation
- Support faster recovery
- Help adjustments hold longer

Think of it as addressing both the “hardware” (joints) and the “software” (muscles & fascia) of your body—creating long-lasting results! 🌿

That's all from Dr. Belle. But, in my experience (Joy), I'll tell you that when I was in the depths of school getting my Master's in Holistic Health & Nutrition Education, I was told by one of my professors that EVERYONE should get, at least, monthly adjustments for overall health & wellness.

NATIONAL WELLNESS MONTH TIP #26! Posture Matters 🪑

Dr. Belle would like to remind everyone how important posture is!

Poor posture doesn’t just affect how you look—it can impact your breathing, digestion, energy, and even mood. Over time, slouching or forward head posture can also lead to headaches, tight shoulders, and back pain.

4 Simple Posture Exercises-
1. Cobra Pose – Opens the chest, strengthens the spine, and reverses slouching.
2. Cat-Cow Stretch – Increases spinal mobility and eases stiffness from sitting.
3. High Plank – Builds core stability to support upright posture.
4. Hip Flexor Stretch – Releases tight hips that contribute to low back strain.

✨ Just 5–10 minutes a day can make a big difference in how you stand, sit, and move. Your body will thank you!

TIP #26! Add these exercises into your daily routine! It's best to hold each stretch for 30-60 seconds for maximum benefit.

Consistent small corrections = big changes for your health and comfort. 🙌
